"I love you, Alejandro."
It had been over five years since Heather's brush with death and she and Alejandro had been happily married for one of those years. They had use their time together wisely, relearning old things about each other as well as new things. They were no longer the teenagers that fought against each other on Total Drama and they were no longer the adults that had fallen in love all those years ago. Together they were something new and wonderful, stronger than ever before. Of course it had taken time to heal the betrayal of their earlier years together and to forgive not only themselves but as well as each other.
Of course

He closed his eyes like he did before the story, not wanting to see either of their reactions. Heaving a sigh, he cautiously opened his eyes, and saw both of them staring blankly at him. They didn't seem to blink, or even move, it was as if time had decided to stand still, but it would not be long until one of them decided to break the silence.
"What was her name?" Heather's voice shaky and uncertain.
Jose let out a breath of air, and slowly brought his eyes to her grey ones.
"Courtney."

Chapter 8
Wait What?
Alejandro's arm tightening around Heather's torso, the name hanging in the air
Previously:
Heather's eyes went wide with fear. She didn't want to remember. Or at least she thought she didn't, these memories were coming in, obviously they were separated with lots of time in between.
"Heather?"
Heather looked towards the man who said her name. He looked so weak in his wheel chair, she didn't have the heart to tell him no.
"I know you don't remember, but there is something that I remember that I need to get off my chest, especially since I wasn't man enough to admit it when you had your memory."
Heather nodded defeated. "Okay." she said in less than a whisper.
"Okay so the night of our anniversary,"

To be or not to be
Heather didn't cry when they said her husband was in an accident. She really didn't care. Well to be honest she didn't really know him. So there in her white hospital room she sat, staring into space, wondering what had happen to her so called husband.
"What happened?" Her voice dull and uninterested.
"His car was wrapped around a tree."
"Oh, was my baby with him?" Tears brimming on the border of her eyes.
"No he was alone, and he stunk of alcohol, he was lucky he did not kill an innocent bystander."
"Yes that would have been dreadful." Her voice monotone, but her eyes full of hatred. He was willin

Chapter 5
Open Your Eyes
Jose drove in silence to the Lowes' house to pick up his daughter. He was no longer paying attention to where he was going. There was nothing for him now. He could not compete with Alejandro, the first time he had won... Obviously. But now it seemed impossibly now, he saw the way she looked at him. Those pale gray eyes had been a dull abyss for two years, she had been happy, once. At least he had hoped. What had happened that day.
Jose destroyed them . . . He had destroyed that baby, that no longer got the chance, because he was a selfish asshole. He missed the spark that once was, he did not even miss it, because
Chapter 4
Ways To Oblivion
It had been hours since Heather opened her pale gray eyes, but no one knew that, and no one knew how to tell her that she is now bearing one less child. Jose had cried, and cried, he didn't think a person could contain so many tears. He waited with baited breath when he saw his wife stir, and yet nothing. He sighed. Jose felt contradicted he wanted his wife to wake, because he no longer felt complete. Unfortunately no one knew how she would come out from the surgery, or how much the shock would affect her body. Alejandro visited some, actually a lot, like he knew the outcome.
"Mmmm..." Jose's head snapped towards

Reading Is For The Birds
***
A auburn headed girl with a pony-tail looked up from her desk where she was looking at a text book with a confused look written upon her face. She sighed as she looked at the clock that hung above her teachers head. She propped up her head with her hand, and let out another sigh.
She slowly looked around the classroom at her class-mates, all of their noses stuck in their books.
"How boring..." She thought to herself.
The only true friend she had wasn't in this class with her. To her, it seemed like she was the only one with a life, everyone else had always seemed so quiet and studious around he
